The Heidegg Home Story

Transforming a museum into a living «piano nobile»

The flat of the last owner family «Pfyffer von Heidegg» has been authentically recreated down to the smallest detail – with original furniture and detailed reproductions of many, additional furnishing elements. The flat welcomes guests with soft piano music, offers exciting reading material and witty audio plays in all rooms, and surprises visitors with a multimedia audio drama in the large «Salon Jaune». Every hour, the «Pfyffer von Heidegg» tell their story – from the founding of the family to its heyday at the beginning of the 20th century, all the way to its decline in the 1950s.

One has the impression of sitting at the table with the family.
