New ways in care communication

Care about Care strengthens professional home care ecosystems. It aims to offer new IT-supported opportunities for collaboration and information sharing to enable older people to age at home and improve care processes. Eight teams from Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland developed and tested the care app in three European countries with more than 700 participants.

Care-App
The app is intended as a hub for access to information exchange between care organizations, caregivers, their clients and informal caregivers. Specific interfaces will provide direct access to the health data of the aid organizations. The platform will also offer a variety of information exchange and service options.

Remot Care Assist
The application is planned as a service to provide professional help and advice to formal and informal caregivers. Expert centers enable knowledge transfer directly to clients on site with the help of new technologies such as augmented reality glasses and smartphones.
