The art of displaying electricity
A power consumption display that doesn’t look like a power consumption display – that was the task for the iHomeLab team. We supported the engineers in developing a display with 81 small displays that not only show the power consumption, but can also be used as an decorative object in the private environment. The interactive display plays with words and creates anagrams and it offers crossword puzzles that can be solved with an associated app. If you want, you can also play chess with this display – and of course it also shows the current energy consumption …
The energy consumption display should require an absolute minimum of electrical energy so as not to significantly increase the energy consumption itself.
